Recorded voice stating their company and that I was eligible for a $200 gift card from several department stores if I completed a survey for them. No live person on the line. Unable to opt out of the call. Very annoying and irritating that I receive these calls daily and more than 3x a day.

I received call from 1-844-553-1070(Brian Parker) badge #7902356 he is officer CRA,and says i owe 3968.00 $if not paying this amount today 13 may 2016 it willbe warrant for arrest from local police and CRA and taken to the court ,and pay 3968.00$ and up to 65.000.$ penalty plus up 5- years prison i have recording this.Who are they people .Somebody must doing something according the LAW.

yes from 1 8445531070 asked me if I was Mrs, A, and I asked who was calling. He said I am calling from Canada Revenue. my answer, Canada revenue does not call, and I hung up so of course a scam. would you believe while I am reporting this, anew call coming in from same number, first call came at 11.06 am and now at 6.54 pm to day. CABB, same scenario and I live in Canada as well. Actually there were 2 or 3 recordings on the answering machine.

Yep, same old scam saying they are with Canada Revenue. Very muffled and obviously on a call out system. Block the call if you can and don't even bother to call them back.

This scam seems to have been going on for a couple of years now, obviously different caller numbers and locations used. Automated message left on my machine never actually states that it's CRA, but this is clearly a scam. These scammers know no shame!

I got two of the same calls today from the same number and both times the muffled female voice said I had to call back within an hour. This is definitely a scam.

Received same message. Called the number back and a male voice answered Revenue Canada and asked if he could call me back.

Interesting that somebody actually answered the phone with this request to you. I guess these fools thought they'd caught another fish on their line!

Just received the same scam call. Automated female voice saying, "We have received a legal case against your name. So before this case gets registered against you or you get arrested under the charges do call us back on our hotline number 1-844-251-9793. Now if I don't hear from you or your attorney either then you will be the only responsible person to trace all the legal consequences."

This is EXACTLY the automated message that we got, three calls yesterday and twice today. The call is now blocked.

two messages with a female voice , exactly with CABB said. the third time i answered and it was a man with an accent. I listened to the speil and he said with out asking " id like to know the name of your criminal lawyer" I told him a lie and said that I was bankrupted and that I talk with CRA everyday, and then hung up on me. What a scammer

Same phishing scam - automated message, female voice, leaving no name, saying that there was a criminal file against us and that failure to return the call will result in warrant for our arrest and we'd have to pay all legal fees. Call done in Canada/Alberta with our number registered for do-not-call registry with our provider.
