I have called the Omaha Police department about this number to report a crime. They represented themselves as being with the Nebraska Department of Health, he gave me my address, asked for the name of my Primary Care doctor, verified his address, and asked my date of birth.
He then asked if I was experiencing pain in my body. I said no. He then asked specifically about my back. I said I had no pain. He asked me to repeat the full sentence. I did. He asked me to verify my date of birth, and I stupidly did so. This number is associated with several companies. After I was hung-up on 4 times. I finally spoke with and Operations Manager named Harold who promised to report this to the company selling names to vendors. The one that finally didn't hang up on me sells insurance.
They have called me 15x in the last 3 days! Never leave a message. I called back yesterday to ask to be removed from their list (they identified as “Velapoint Insurance”, after I got through the robo switchboard). They guy “Joe” got belligerent with me and kept repeating “No! I’m going to call you everyday!” He said I had put my number out on the internet and it was public, so he could call me all he wanted. I told him I was going to report them to the FCC and he told me “go right fûćking ahead!” And hung up on me. They have called me 5x today, alone! I filed a report with the FCC.
