This company, Premium Rent To Own Homes, appears to be a scam.

Upon calling them they explained how they work.
They work with individuals with low income and/or bad credit. By working with them as they partner with Lexington Law they will help us rebuild our credit and get us into one of their homes. They told us they have a list of homes available to us in the Grand Rapids area all within price ranges starting at $349. All I had to do was start working on my credit with their partners at Lexingon Law and they would immediately email me a list of their properties. They gave me the number for Lexington Law so I moved on over to that conversation. I then had to pay $15 to start the process, and agree to an additional $25 a month fee. So we did it, and then got back with Premium Rent to Own Homes.

They promised to send an email within an hour. I waited 2 hours then called back. They then said it would take 24 hours. So I waited 26 hours then called back. They then said it would have to wait because the only guy qualified to send emails was on lunch break. So I waited 2 hours then called back. I was then told it would take 10 minutes. So I waited 2 more hours then called back. I was told a manager would call me in 5-10 minutes. I waited 15 minutes then called back. The guy then said he is sending the email and it would be a couple minutes, then he hung up. I IMMEDIATELY called back and when he answered I said I am going to stay on the line with him until it arrives. He then got irrate and said I am not allowed to stay on the line. So I got irrate back and said if I don't have a list of properties by the time I get off the phone with him I am going to spend the weekend on social media telling people about this scam to steal money from people. He said that's a lie and got more irrate. But I stayed talking and stayed on the line.

He then sent me a list of three real estate websites. Not a list of properties this company has that they can rent/lease out for the prices promised. Just three rental search engines. So I got conned into paying Lexington Law money in order to get access to a list that Premium Rent To Own Homes does not even have. So as I promised Shawn, here I am on social media telling you about my experience.

I also feel the need to point out that all of their 5* reviews are blank, meanwhile the reviews that actually have text in them are 1* which makes me think the 5* reviews are fake or paid for. Even the 3* reviews they have are fake because they are questions not statements of experience interacting with the company. Maybe some people should report those fake reviews so they get removed?
