Mr. Myers was the first person I talked to he said he was calling for the IRs I was driving home from work my drive takes fourth five mins. He was telling me that from 2011 until 2015 that the IRS had checked my back tax returns and found that I owed them the amount of 3500.00 and that the IRs was chargeing me with froud and tax eva
ding and etc. And that they where in contact with my locale police and they where ready to send them to pick me up until my court date in addition they where going to freeze nh account and take any accets that I own. Now I already have a very high anxiety which has steady gave me a stress heart attach

They told me that they where going to arrest me and take me to court if I didn't come up with the money. They have called me back with this number (718)878-4104 and said they are going to freeware my account and take my house etc. Now for many this would upset them but I already have a high leave of anixity needless to say I have had a stress heart attach and with this call has put me back at the hospital. Hope they get stopped. I would like to take leaflet action against them. Thank you.

I received a similar call from (844) 385-9045 indicating that my bank account have been frozen by the IRS and I needed to call back that number for further details and if they didn't hear from me or my attorney, I will be liable for additional fees. BIG SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!

I received a call from this number today. Scared the daylights out of me. The guy, who claims to be DANIEL COOPER, BADGE 1000371 from the IRS threatened me that if I did not pay him $1000 on the spot for a $2900 debt for back taxes, he would send law enforcement officers to my place of work and have me arrested, and that I would lose my job and face incarceration for 5 years! I told him I would go to my local IRS office and see what this is about. I don't have the money, and this is the first I hear of owing back taxes. He then said, can you pay $500 today? Do you have credit cards? I told him I have credit cards, but not enough credit available to pay that sum. I never provided him with any credit card information. This guy was intimidating, had a foreign accent, as if his native tongue may have been tagalog, and I could tell he was calling from a call center environment from all the chatter in the background. Finally he said he would give me until tomorrow to get $500 together and then I could make monthly payments of $125. He PROHIBITED me from telling any third party about the call, threatening to put me in jail! REALLY??? I already reported this scam to the government's TIGTA web site. He is supposed to call back tomorrow at 1:30p to "take my $500 payment" Yeah, RIGHT!!!

i got the same call today from the same number 844-385-9045 and the same message, i know there is no due bill on me because i am a disable man and i get ssi benefit and there is no tax for this income.

Received a call from this same number. Today's scammers claimed to be the IRS and that 'they were initiating legal procedures on (literally-they said 'your name') and placing a lien on our assets due to our inability to pay and that the IRS office will visit us tomorrow; if our lawyer doesn't call back immediately - we 'd be 'sole' (!!) responsible for all legal consequences." Next call is to the FTC regarding this phone number and the call back number they left; 844-385-9045
