I would not answer, so they recorded a message saying a company was commanded to shut down and I had to call back their number 1-844-386-8965 press 1 to continue the service and my credit card will be charged 299.99 or press 2 to opt out and when I press 2 it goes right back to the confuluted message. The first part of their message was missing. I did not call back!!! Very annoying calling our number 2-3 times a day. I hang up on them but...again very annoying.

Scam robo call saying company I paid technical support to is out of business and I'm due a refund so call 844/386-8965. I have reported them to the FTC.

Recorded message says "do not hang up" and goes on to say the company I paid technical support to (which I hadn't done) is out of business and I'm due for a refund. It instructs me to call 844-386-8965. I am reporting this to the FTC. Getting inundated with all kinds of robocalls.and have run out of space to block their numbers. Nomorobo is not blocking these calls since they have creative with fake names and using local prefix numbers to trick you into answering.

Had a recorded call from this number and checked here to confirm it was a scam. I think the government ought to take this on as a priority as it can lead to election fraud in other hands.

I received a call, today. I don't believe the robotic lady voice gave her name, but said she was from "Microsoft Refund Department" and they were going out of business and that I was due a refund. Not only was the topic suspicious, she read the phone number wrong, as 4 digits, 3 digits, 3 digits and that just catches your ear wrong. Needless to day, I am not calling back.

Rec'd robocall this afternoon. Said "My name is Cathy Johnson with Microsoft Refund Dept. Please don't hang up." Went on to claim I was due a refund for tech support service I'd purchased as "company has gone out of business." Yeh!! Could tell was computer generated voice as sentences stopped in wrong places, etc. Said to call toll-free number (same as called me) to arrange for the refund. I then hung up. I've gotten this same type of call with same message several times previously. CID showed phone # and "800 Service."

Scam claiming a company is going out of business and you are due a refund. I got a very similar call a couple of months ago.

Spam or Scam, don't know, don't care. ID'd as 800 Service.
My telephone provider's Caller ID/Trap caught it and stopped it.
The trap is set so I don't answer any call until the third ring, so if it stops after the second ring, I know it was a junk call.
