This was legitimate. I received a call and voicemail about my card ending in **** wanting to verify charges. I called my credit union, they verified the charges and closed my card. I asked about this particular phone number that called me and she showed that they did call me.
Yes, they called me, too. My son had made purchases on his iPad that were flagged for some reason. It seemed like a legit call.
Not a scam. Call from my credit union.
This call was from my Credit Union security service provider saying there's been possible fraudulent activity on my debit card. I didn't call back at first but then checked my bank account and saw someone used my debit card number and spent $810.42 online. This was not authorized by me and I'm thankful I called them back. PLEASE take this call seriously. There or so many pieces of crap out there preying on the honest hard working citizens.
THIS A REAL CALL IT'S NOT A SCAM!
99.999999% of the time you don't even talk to anyone, they ask a couple questions about recent transactions on your debit card and you press 1 for yes and etc. They don't ask but for a couple 4 digit verifications and BOOM you're done.
STOP PANICKING PEOPLE!!! ;)
