Sounds like a guy with a slight accent talking on speaker phone because it sounds far away from the phone like he's reading a script. 6/20/16 4:23 pm pt I was always told that the IRS never calls you or emails you. They will mail correspondences only. Beware!

Left message saying legal action. Obviously a scam. No caller name. Just garbage designed to try and intimidate those who might not be savvy enough to know better. I say bring it a-hole. I'm waiting for you!!

Received voice message on 6/20/16 from 844-434-0123 caller did not identify himself by name - purpose - enforcement action executed by US Treasury. Failure to respond would require appearance before Magistrate Judge or Grand Jury for a federal criminal offense.
