They call me this morning. No name displayed, just this number 844-434-0127. Recorded voice saying there is a tax fraud file against me and I or my attorney must call them back. Threatening.

I have received two messages from this number over the last week. I am going to call the CRA and let them know so they can add my complaint to the numerous already on file.

I received a call from the same number - 18444340127. It is an automated call. Call Canada Revenue Agency to confirm if it is one of their numbers if you get a call from anywhere. Treat this number as a SPAM..I was told by CRA that if there is anything to deal with taxes, they send out letters and do not threaten people. The agent also advised not to call back the number as you get charged for the phone calls and also not to give out any personal or credit card information.

This FAKE Revenue Canada agency called and left a message saying that I'm wanted for tax evasion or something like that. Hahahaha, I laughed my ass off. Great entertainment value! LolL. Anyone who falls for this is almost as stupid as these spam shysters.

A recorded voice called and claimed there was a Rev Can lawsuit against me (unnamed) and my lawyer or myself should call the number or I would face the legal consequences by myself. The voice was a scrambled version of a well known voice for various telemarketing ads. 844 4340-0127

I received a call from the same number, I believe it is meant to scare you. Canada Revenue Agency must notify you that your have unsettled taxes thru writing. You must also have these unsettled back taxes reflecting from your notice of assessment. Treat that number as a SPAM number. Don't be threatened by them. Just call Canada Revenue Agency directly.
