Man named John King called my job of employment threatened me with jail time if I did not pay.

Extremely rude, obnoxious & bullying on the phone. Will not let you get a word in & yells at you regarding collection matters. I asked for something in writing because I am not sure it is legit.

They leave all kinds of information in a voice mail - violation of federal law - stating you have a bad check and owe over $1800, this is your last chance, call us today at the 844 number. I don't answer and don't call back as I know this is a scam.

Received a call today 7-27-2017 from Samantha for Summit Receivables from a 816-281-1599 did not state who they wanted to talk to. States that they want to verify bank information for security purposes left a call back number of 844-498-6545. At the end then she states that this is a debt collector any information will only pertain for that purpose. Scam Scam don't know them and if I gave them permission to use my account they should already have that information, they would have no need to verify that information now.

they didn't leave a name, just a company name, trying to collect a debt. they wanted my social security number, and my employer information. they stated it is mandatory that I supply them with my social security number. LOL do they think I was born yesterday? I was born the day before yesterday. these are scammers. I used to get calls like this abut that there is a problem with my green card and immigration status. that's funny considering that I am a naturalized u.s. citizen.

Again the number to call me is 1-844-498-6545 and this is an attempt to collect a debt and any information will be used for that purpose."

Got a call from 843-264-7395 and they left a message saying I recently spoke with someone in their department and the notes "portrayed me in a negative light" and she wanted to talk with me as she had until the end of the day to "make a recommendation.She said if I don't hear back from you we will see you in court. And she said "this is an attempt to collect a debt and the information will be used as such." The callback number she left is 1-844-498-6545.The 843 number is from a town about 2 hrs from I live at but she leaves the 844 number as a call back number.

interesting how WE have these outrageous debts somewhere, but they don't even leave a name for who they are calling for. I've had my ph number for decades, and recently started getting these ph calls. my caller was "paul" who apparently is a tech person not on the floor????? 'might have been a mistake' according to the person answering the ph, but then he goes to ask me what's my ph number where they left a message. NICE TRY! I work for a govt agency and called them from my work line, suddenly, 'yeah it must have been a mistake, paul is not on the floor'
this people don't know they could be of serious harm to the elderly or people that are not aware of their rights. SHAMEFUL!!!

The callback number she left is 1-844-498-6545 which matches a few on here from what I have read. Just wanted to post this for everyone, I won't be calling them back.

Didn't give me a name or the company that they work for. Just that they will report me for not paying my debt. The major problem I see with this is that I am not behind on any of my bills. So I refuse to talk to them as I believe that this is a scam

Robert called saying they needed to reach "this office" to offer a chance to "voluntarily resolve" a debt. Not even an office number.

Susan Smith with call regarding bad check and threat to turn me over to their lawyer team and Brett ? at the same time calling requesting to collect a debt. One was calling while the other called and left 6 messages at 3:47.

Susan Smith from Summit Receivables 844-498-6545 called and left a message stating that the payment to the back was sent back. Interestingly enough, Susan never addressed the individual that the call was for and I know it was not for me. I have had the phone number for over a year, so it might behoove the company to check to ensure the phones numbers they are provided are accurate.
