Called and said had a case against me

Spammer leaving a message for someone regarding a case they are processing.

I just called this number back, and they told me I was liable for a payday loan I took out online. I told them my name was Kevin Fortune, and they rattled off my last 4... which gave me pause. So I told them that it was NOT my last 4, and they said they'd take me off the call list. I'll wait till tomorrow to see if that is the case.

They called to threaten my husband with a law suite if he didn't pay back a Pay-Day loan of 2,000 dollars from 2012 that they claim he received. Then processed to tell me that if he didn't pay they would go after our nephew as well because his name was listed as a reference...our nephew was 11. WTF?

This is not the first time this has happened, but it is a new number for the same people. When they called today they made sure to tell me a different date for the supposed Pay-Day loan we did...online. Then told me they would be filing a law suite if we didn't settle it today. They had threatened my nephew, whose name they say was used as a reference, even though back in 2012 (the original year they told me) he was only 15 years old.

This is just shit. I almost wish they would try to sue us, because then I could file a counter claim for defamation of character, harassment, and pain and suffering. (the call my mother-in-law at least three times a day looking for one of us, and call our phone at least twice a day. The constant calls caused my mother-in-law to worry and she ended up on meds for her nerves.)
