Called me daily since last week. Told them I'd never taken out a loan from the company (Twin Bluff Financial) and could provide bank statements from the time in question, as well as a cease and desist and disgorge order issued by the California Department of Business Oversight to the lender. They keep saying they don't need me to send them anything and they'd update their records/send the claim back to Twin Bluff. Then they call again the next day as if we'd never spoken before. I've reported the number to the Better Business Bureau, but without an address, I'm afraid it's probably pointless.

called my phone from 844-514-6247, I did not answer and they did not leave a message. I called the number back and they were Transamerica consumer services. They were trying to collect a debt from another person, not me. Not sure if it's a scam or someone just didn't pay their bills.

I also have received a call from these people, I didn't answer the phone but listened to the message left and busted up laughing, the person they were calling for regarding a claim number died last summer, it was so funny and I am still laughing, someone is not doing their research very well, calling on a claim to a dead person, ha-ha.....still laughing....

Lady with a thick accent called and left messages on both me and my husbands phones. We called back and she said I owed on a payday loan that I took out 8 years ago! I told her that I never took out a loan, nor has it ever showed up on my credit report. She stated she could set up a payment arrangement. I explained that I am not settling on a loan i never took out and they could mail me proof of this loan to my address. She told me to have a good day and hung up! Total scam.

Couldn't understand the foreign accent for name, but it Sounds like exactly what I was going through in above comments, they asked for my name and number to verify who they were talking to, I said "first, who are you". "Are you Peter?"
"I thought you needed my name and number? "
"it came up on my screen are you peter?"
" That's my husband. ..who are you? "
"can you give me the last four of ssn?"
" not till you tell me who you're with"
"TransAmerica consumer services, we're calling on a debt,I need your last four ssn?"
" I don't Carry our keep his ssn, who is the debt to? "
" I can't share that information"
"Then you can delete my number, because it's my phone, not Peter's, Don't call my number again"@

I received a call this a.m. She said her name was Kathy calling from Transamerica Consumer. I asked what type of business this was and she would not tell me anything unless I confirmed the last four digits of my SSN.

I refused to confirm or deny the last four digits of my SSN that she had!! I kept refusing and she told me that she actually had my whole SSN in front of her. I told her "Mail a letter what this is in regards to!" and hung up. Very disturbing that she had my last 4, let alone my ENTIRE SSN.

Same story too, told them I was disputing the debt. They are still calling. I will likely change my number.

I am being called from the number 844-514-6247 and they are trying to bully me into paying a pay day loan that I never took. I will to report this.

The number that called me and ask for a diffreant person the number is 1-844-791-2577 and she was foreign and she sounded like she was driving on my voicemail and when i called it back it was a land line so whats up with that

They said they were calling from Transamerica regarding a payday loan that supposedly I got online and never paid. I asked them to show me proof that I got the loan, either my signature on the loan check or my bank account number where it was supposedly deposited. They put me on hold and then hung up. I called back to ask for their address and they hung up on me again. Total scam.
