I received voice mail from the same 844 no. a couple of times telling it was from Chase Customer Services with an extension to call back.
When I called my regular Chase Customer Services 800 no. to check if there was message for me. That didn't seem they had in record. Wondering what was their problem.

Message left on my landline answering machine to respond at 844-540-8023. When I saw Chase mentioned repeatedly on this site, I called Chase Credit Card Customer Service at a different number. I was told this was a legitimate attempt to reach me. The Chase representative had logged this attempt to contact me at the same time as my answering machine had recorded the call.

I called Chase. It is a scam. People saying that it is legit must be in on it or gave their personal and bank information that will allow that scammers to steal from them. Only call Chase from the number on your card or statement!

Got this number recorded to my home and my cell number saying from CHASE credit card. I called my bank and was told bank never call customer it only writes its correspondence by letter.
Can anyone provide any way to stop this scam. Thanks

This is scam. I called the chase customer service line regarding this phone no. They said this is not a legit Chase no. and don't provide any account info.

For me 844-540-8023 was Chase customer service returning my inquiry. Legit call.

these people dont care about breaking any laws. just tell them that the call is being recorded for legal purposes and they will hang up on you.. the way they do business is just un ethical and should be investigated...
