Just received a call from this "federal" office, who did not identify who the message was for or themselves.

The caller left a message from " a govt. agency" that we owe money, and to call the given # 844-548-0110 and they will help us work out the situation.

Caller: unknown but said he was from US Treasury.

They called me twice today. I called back five different times, being disconnected each and every time! I'm so going to annoy these people by calling every ten minutes until they stop bugging good, hard working, people. Wish me luck LOL.... Anyone know who to contact to report these idiots?

Fraudulent, states they are the IRS and going to sue us, annoying. Reported to authorities, got our number when we bought something from a lawn treatment company! 1st an Indian man 2nd a female robot (robo dialing) please help STOP this

There is an excellent chance this call originated from outside the country and no illegal alien is involved. The caller ID numbers are usually spoofed covering the real origin of the call.
This type of xenophobic thinking you displayed in your post can place you in the direct cross-hairs of an American born Scam artist. (of which there are tens of thousands)
I guess by your post, all white residents of the United States must leave the country, as they are descendants of immigrants from Europe. By keeping America American, I assume you mean Ute, Navajo Cherokee, Hopi (etc. etc.) only, since they were the first here.
As to your condemnation of those "Damn Democrats":
This is not a problem perpetuated by either the Democrats or Republicans. To think so, just shows ignorance. This is a problem perpetuated by greedy criminals world wide.

Scam artists are older then civilization itself. There is no way any government can fully protect its population from these dirt-bags. The only way to fight these lowlifes, is by using your brain. If something sounds too good to be true, it is. If you feel a call is ligament, and is really from a bank or government agency, then look up the agency's number, and call them back to check. NEVER call the number given on the phone or email, as you will be calling a basement boiler room filled with thieves.

Received called from "Dennis Gray" claiming to be from US Treasury Department. He left message on our answering machine stating it was imperative we call that number immediately and that we needed to appear before the grand jury and something about owing thousands of dollars and it was important not to ignore the message. He said help us help you. What a scam!

IRS! Said that if I ignored the call that I would be brought up on criminal charges. The guy on the voice message obvious had an accent that he was trying to cover up. But he didn't try hard enough.

Received call this a.m. Same as previously recorded. Heavy accent. Claimed to be from the Treasury Dept. Second call in 5 months. Heard about this Scam. Why hasn't anyone actually caught this guy if others have been able to return the call and speak to a real person?

Same as everyone else's reports. Caller left message on ans. machine. I'd heard about this scam awhile back. Second call in about 5 months. Why isn't the actual treasury Dept. looking into this? Isn't there some law against impersonating a Federal Agent, especially a threatening one, Anyone bothered to inform this idiot that he's the one in major trouble when he's caught!
