They called me at midnight!

Same as Anonymous from Jul 11, 2016. The exact same message repeated 3 times, obviously a scam. And thanks to the Anonymous for the IRS report link!

They called and told me if I hung up I could be looking at time on jail and it would be a federal issue...and that I would be arrested as soon as I hung up

Just recieved a call from 1-844-551-0577 the left a message saying they are from the CRA and to avoid prosecution I should contact them. This is a scam, the phone companies claim they can't track the numbers of the scammers. Total BS.

I've been threatened also from this number and the following: 754-999-3188, 202-417-8568, and 301-771-9022. And if I don't answer, they leave the same message from each phone number, with the same accented voice claiming I am evading prosecution. “This message is intended to contact you. My name is Steve Martin and I’m calling regarding an enforcement action executed by the US Treasury intending your serious attention. Ignoring this will be an intentional 2nd attempt to avoid an issue appearing before a magistrate judge or a grand jury for a federal criminal offense. My number is 754-999-3188. I repeat my number is 754-999-3188. I advise you to cooperate with us to help us, help you. Thank you.” Each time they call, the phone number in the voicemail is updated to their new number.
