at 9:18mst 7-21 chris morris or moores said he was with the us treasury dept concerned about 2nd attempt for an enforcement act and to help with a criminal offense and grand jury process! At 9:23 the same day, Harry Johnson claimed to be with us treasury dept and stated the same information as the 1st caller from the same number. At 9:30, I called the number and Michael answered stating that he represented the us treasury dept and said he would be getting a police officer to my home to enforce the monies. Every caller has an ethnic accent. I haveI filed a complaint previously with the us government about this scam on 7/2/16. My phone company Century Link was notified today regarding this scam and sending me papers to fill out.

We suspected it was a scam by the number, silly message and hard to understand "Chris". We didn't pick up and let "Chris" leave his ridiculous message. I called the number back from my work and "Chris" answered with "Us Treasury"-how can I help you? I replied, "Sure you are" and hung up. Gee- I hope he can't find me. I'm "scared!!!" (ha)

This is a total scam*************** Chris called (this was a recording) today to inform me that someone from an un-named US Govt agency has been trying to get a hold of me. Apparently I am wanted for some crime, and must appear before either a Federal Magistrate or a Grand Jury... He was a little hazy on which one really wanted me more..... He also had a little trouble pronouncing some English words. Just so everyone is aware... The US Govt. would NEVER try and contact a person by phone. All correspondence is done via registered mail, and you must sign for proof of receipt. That correspondence would then tell you exactly what agency is trying to contact you along with a contact and a number (including ext.). **************

Got the same call on my husbands cell phone!!! It's disgusting their trying to scare people into calling them back so they can scan them!!! The treasury would contact you by certified mail if needed not through someone else.
