I got two of these calls over 2 days from 2 different very-heavily-accented guys, including 'Officer Sean White'. The tone was really ominous, not to disregard the message, blah, blah, blah. 'Found this page by cross-referencing the number. First of all, we just sent the Treasury a 5-figure check for 2015 taxes; you're welcome. And, sure, like the IRS is going to call - they don't, any 'real' business is handled by mail. AND, what are the odds that both of those calls would be from threatening sounding guys with heavy accents. I hope they call again. I'll pick-up the phone just so I can tell them to ---- ---!

Oh Ya, They called me too. Said a warrent was being released in 20 minutes after the call. Kind of got me going. My wife kept her wits. We did asked for a phone number, which they did give us a irs number. Which is what my wife put into google. So thats when they got me going. But, going thru caller id on the phone. Then i found this number. BAM. Right here with you guys. Thanks for the help, and this page.....

Changed name to Officer Sean White on my call. Same number though. Told him I would bring the money and asked for location .. surprisingly he would not give it to me. Told him he needs to come up with a different scam and hung up.

yes called today, from some sheriff...recording stating if I didn't call or my lawyer I would be in big legal trouble!

Total scam. Called number back got a non English speaking man ( supposed to be Ken) told me the IRS was coming to arrest me in 45 mins. Couldn't help but laugh. Told me I was being charged with tax evasion. What a joke!!! I've worked at the same place for 16 years and never not paid my taxes.

I got the same call, totally B.S.

Didn't recognize the number so I let it go to voicemail. The voicemail message is from an "Officer Ray Morgan" (?) talking about the matters at hand being urgent, "try not to disregard this call", and he expects to hear back, if not, "good luck" and have a "blessed day". Message was EXTREMELY difficult to understand due to it sounding both electronic and in an accent. It's definitely a scam. I've read elsewhere that it's a tax scam. Beware.
