They called my cell phone & left a message that the call was from Wakefield & Associates...When I called back the first time i go an angry woman who hung up because she did not like my tone of voice after getting their SPAM CALL. I called back a second time and got a man who said they were looking for Earnest Pope...NO SUCH PERSON LIVES AT THIS ADDRESS OR HAS EVER LIVED AT THIS ADDRESS...nor do we know any one by the name of Earnest Pope
We have NO DEBTS…SO THIS IS A PURE SCAM

They've called and I've talked to them. Wakefield. Said I owed a medical bill. Called the so called originator of the debt and they said I paid for any procedure I had. They also said that if they do send to collections, they never have used Wakefield. Wakefield claims I have to get receipts and fill out forms to prove I don't owe it. But then say it would be easier to pay it or set up a payment plan. They likely got information from a security breach like Equifax and try to scam $$ by claiming old medical is still owed.

This number has called several times but refuses to say a word, I just hang up but I have Addison's Disease and stress is a Killer to me from the steroids, they are stressing me out terribly!

Wakefield might be a collection agency but I do not owe money The police have said that claiming to be a collection agency is a major scam in this area This is a scam !!
