I got a voicemail from 844-249-2848. Said her name is pamela from the legal department of api. Also called my ex whom i have not been with in almost 7 years on her home phone telling her the same thing she left on my voicemail. They have a case number and contact number with extension. She called my ex by her maiden name when she has been married 3 years, and i have been married 5 years. This is crazy, I'm definitely not calling back.

Brenda called me and my ex husband and 86 year old grandmother several times saying I took out a loan. Would not send me any documentation about loan. Said she was referring my case for fraud and I would be prosecuted for fraud. Said we could set up a payment plan but could only use a pre-paid card. Also said I had defrauded the IRS because I had not filed a 1099 showing I took the loan. Said I signed a contract yet would not provide it. Called me a B****!

I got a call from this number. They said my husband owed someone money and that a judgement was going to filed at the Yellowstone County Courthouse. If we didn't respond to this call.

I received a call from this number and Lynn left a voicemail. She left similar instructions saying they had a claim against me and she wanted to get my side of the story so the claim wouldn't go further. Based on the notes provided here, I am blocking the number and not calling back either.

Brenda Artel called left a message on my machine then called my mother where I haven't been for 11 years now. Claiming they have a file against my name and social.

Called under the name "Pamela". She called about a fake court case. And they called the wrong number too, they were supposed to call my dad not me

I got a call from this number too, said his name is Steven Johnson. He said I needed to call him back before they file with the police. Not calling back and blocked the number. Scam

I have received several voice mails from this number clamming to have a file on me. The caller name is Michelle and they say they are from a collection agent. They are a scam and there is a lot of these scams going around. Will not call them back...

I got a call from this same number, saying her name was Michelle from a recovery service. Saying I needed to call her by July 30. There are so many scammers out there. And I will not call her back...

I just received a call from pam from API with this number 844-580-7842 and she said she is calling to get my side of the story or some kind of arrangement before she file the legal documents that she has received. I'm not going to call back.

They called me also, and said her name was Michelle from API calling on a legal matter that concerned me. She said she needed my information to make a final recommendation. Scammers!

Got a voicemail on my landline phone from a Pamela @ 844-580-7842, ext 238 seeking to contact someone with my same last name. I called her back and she said she was with API, a 'pre-litigation' firm, in New York. She refused to talk to me any further because I called her back from a different phone than my landline # & said she didn't recognize my phone #. She ended up calling me an IDIOT & hung up on me when I tried to ask her more questions about her business. Either a SCAM, or just a COLLECTION AGENT trying to be tricky.

Same scam trying to say there is a legal matter. I think this ring of crooks buy information from theives. Had our car stolen and a few documents in there an ironic the phone numbers left the documents got calls from this number. Even though some people were not related to the name of the owner of the car.
