I received an email message about suspicious activity on my credit card. I will not call them back.
Yes, I may not believe this call originating from telephone number: 1-844-585-0488.
Recorded message said "This is Bank of America credit card fraud department calling for (name) regarding unusual activity on your credit card. A temporary hold has been placed on your card." My husband called the number they left which was 1-844-585-0488. He said the person that answered sounded like a little kid. My husband then hung up and called the number on the back of his Bank of America credit card. The customer service representative he spoke with said they did not call and no one had tried to use his credit card. The day before I received an email titled "Bank of America." Security Alert: Unusual Credit Card Activity Detected.
