I was on the internet and a message popped up saying that my computer was compromised and to call Microsoft at 844-587-1479 so it could be fixed. I tried to close my browser but could not. The only way I could get rid of the message and close my browser was by going to task manager and ending task.

Had a message on computer to call this number for a Microsoft security alert. Want to fix an adware Spyware security attack to my computer said in note that this was a support helpl;ink to clear my computer and that it was from Microsoft

Please check the phone. I think it is a mobile phone, not a business number.
