I received a call from this number, today. A voicemail was left by a man, stating that their "client" has filed paperwork with their company and has sent me said paperwork with no response (from me). The man in the message went on to inform me that unless I responded today, my wages would be subject to garnishment.
About 20 minutes after receiving the message, I called back and asked for the person who left the message - Norman Wells. The person answering the phone asked me to hold on. I was placed on a VERY BRIEF hold (maybe). Then, the SAME person came back and quickly sped through his (supposed) name. He, then, went on to claim I'd taken out a payday loan in 2010 and asked me if I "remember" this. I told him that I do not. I asked him if he could tell me who the original lender is supposed to be...to which he told me that there is no way of knowing. In response, I asked him how I was supposed to validate a "claim" if I didn't even have all of the information in regards to it. I asked him if he could send me hard documentation, via certified mail, of the supposed debt. As I was asking this question, he hung up on me.
