i have had this happen for a few days and multiples calls they also use 844-650-0274 or a 336-285-1375 number and say i owe JP Morgan for 1,000.00 loan that i know i didnt take out and i have not used my married name since i got divorced. they said i took out the loan in 09 and that the so called hearing is in MD but i they said i took out the loan in CA. and they refused to tell me when the hearing was and the calls would stop if i paid them over the phone. also that i would have to show to the hearing to clear my name. but yet they couldn't tell me when that was. and i don't think a lawyer would b calling me at 10pm. and they r now trying to get my soon to be husband also for money.. i blocked several of the 844 numbers but they keep calling HELP please

Honestly Carol, 99% of the time I just delete their voicemail without listening to it and keep blocking whatever number they're calling from. That's the best way to get away from it is just ignore it. Good Luck! I know how annoying this is!
Them and several companies like them keep calling me and my friends and family to find me, which is scary because I don't know how they know their information. They said I took out a loan with comcast.com?? in 2013 and never paid it back. Which is NOT true. They have my maiden name that I haven't used in 6 years so that doesn't match up let alone that fact that I have NEVER taken a payday loan out with that company that I have never heard of. I ripped the barely speaking english rep a new one and told her to stop calling or I would report them to my lawyer, she kept talking over me so I yelled at her to shut up and listen to me so she understands me clearly. These people have hit my last nerve. Enough is enough already!!

I got called by one of these numbers, too; I also basically threatened to rip the guys junk off if they didn't leave me alone. It's all nonsense, but it did scare me at first. I hate these people.
Yeah I started getting these years ago, someone must have sold my information or something. At first it scared me too then I talked to my lawyers office and they reassured me it was a scam and that you can not go to jail for debt. Intentional fraud, yes but not what these guys are doing. Plus, it's illegal for them to be threatening like they do. One of these days I should record them and sue their butts!!
Scam, will call from different numbers threatening a suit if you don't pay off a fake loan....ignore

They claim that I received a payday loan in 2011 on a bank account that was closed in 09' they want 780.00 or 2000.00 to fight on court to get documents. I have reported this to multiple agencies multiple times. Really getting tired of it
Keep calling my cell phone & work phone using a recording & different numbers as well. Everytime I block 1 number on my cell phone, they use another 1.
