These people are a crock ~ and when I told them their 'this is a legal matter about to be turned over' was a crock, I got hung up on … 5 times by 3 different people!! They don't want to hear that you know that their company is a scam and someone's got their number (literally and figuratively). Got a call for my ex husband (we've been divorced for 4 years now and he hasn't lived at this number for 4.5) and the automated message said it was for him and that it was about to be turned over to the proper authorities unless he voluntarily took care of this 'civil matter'. I pressed one and got some turd named "Michael Stevens" and when I mimicked his monotone and told him his threats of courts were a crock (I never swore) he hung up on me. I called back, he hung up on me again. Called a third time and got some Angela chick and I told her I got hung up on and that I wanted my number removed from my ex husband's name. She apologized and when I told her the whole turning anyone over to legal was a crock (no swearing) she said "I know why you got hung up on" and hung up on me. So guess what. I called back again and asked for a supervisor. Got an "Alexander Nichols". I told him his employees were hanging up on me because I was telling them that threatening legal action was a crock and I got hung up on by a third person.
I don't know when I've ever felt so accomplished. :)
