They left a message on my home phone with: last 4 numbers of my card, name as on the card, and a case number. Said my card was blocked because of suspicious activity. I called the number on the back of my card and eventually did get to the real fraud detection unit. They confirmed that this was actually a legitimate call!

Said there had been unusual charges on my debit card and were calling to alert me of fraud. When I called them back I was informed that they could not verify that I was who they had called. I got suspicious and hung up! Have reported them to my bank.

SCAM...PHISHING EXPEDITION!!
Robo-call ... left a recorded BS message on my cell phone...10 minutes later it called my house phone...left no message!!

Caller: Search engine lIsted as several different banks and organizations!!

Called my number stating they were from my Federal Credit Union and had my last 4 digits of my card. Gave me a "case number" with instructions to call them back. If it weren't for the fact that I know all the transactions I make and follow them closely, I would have returned the call thinking I had some fraudulent charges being made. These folks are getting quite dirty at this game!!!

Got a call from this number claiming to be fraud alert. They gave options like a normal banking fraud alert where you select a transaction you didn't make. When I selected no for a charge I got forwarded to a woman. She asked for name on card verification. She kept saying the name was incorrect. When I asked for the last 4 digits of the card I was verifying she gave me my actual last 4, I said the name on the card again and she hung up. I immediately called my bank to put a stop on the card and get a replacement.

They have called but they had the last 4 digits I our bank card correct!
