They called me and had my insurance name and said my daughter's name, it asked " Are you the parent of "daughters name", Yes or No? I just hung up, there is a new scam that attempts to make you say Yes to authorize usage of your stuff.

Got this message today from 844-958-3804 stating they were calling from Dr. So and so the Chief Medical Officer from my healthcare insurance plan and I needed to call them as soon as possible. I was given a 7 digit code to enter so that they would know who I was when I called them back. I would like to know how these scammers know who my medical insurer is????? I have become the type of person who unfortunately no longer trusts anyone and I question everything. I feel bad for those who are so trusting and will call them back thinking this is a legitimate call and wind up giving them all kinds of personal information.
