I didn't answer the call but they left me the message everyone else gets: if I don't call back in 24 hours I would be arrested. I called the police to see if there were any particular laws these scammers are breaking but was told they aren't breaking any. I wanted to call them back just to give them crap but the police office told me not to engage with them as it would only get worse. While I can spot scams like this easily, I worry for those who can't. This sort of thing is disgusting. It's too bad there isn't anything that can be done to stop them.
