When this person called me back he said and tried to confirm my address that he sent a letter to my house. If you sent one to my house, I would know. Even if it had a signature on it as he stated and I have not bought anything and turn away all packages needing or requiring payment.
The call back:
>>>
>> Heavy accent:
This is Officer Kevin Miller of the US Treasury – I left a voice mail to have you contact your lawyers. I told him I have a legal backing and I am represented world wide. Which house did you send it to. HE asks to confirm the address, Do you live at...? I say What type of mail did you send?, he says mail to your house and you never open it? (He is big brother, ehy?) Law enforcement action spotted on my name. Really? So, he wants to be hired as my lawyer when I am represented already? Conflicting to me.
>>> He begins yelling your are not listening. So, I said ok, then repeat your question? You received the letter, right?
I ask, "Why is this number listed as a SCAM?" He disconnects immediately.
Immediately the phone disconnects.
Guy could barely speak English. Told me if I didn't pay over 4000.00 the "IRS" was going to throw me in jail for 7 years. He said they sent me certified letters that I ignored which never happened. He hung up on me when I told him I was recording the call.
