just spoke to them and they're legit. First thing the caller said was that he'd gotten the letter I sent (about exactly what I sent), and then he told me exactly what I had to do. Didn't ask for my ss # or any information.
Claimed to be calling about social security looking for my SS number. However when you call back it is an old, no longer valid SS # and the tape refers you to the SS office. How do they use a non-working number?
