Called claiming my father or brother is in a car accident. Said his name was George Williams. Immediately knew it was a scam and ignored them till they hung up. They called back. I asked who was in the accident. He said that's why he's calling me to find out. Again stopped talking they hung up. I reported to police.

They got me too. Until there stories changed so much and I called the ppl that they supposedly had.

scammer called to say relative was in a car accident. they had my last name and said my relative was in car accident. They only wanted to talk to me. tried to get me to give them a name. then they put a person on the phone who was crying. they told me my relative hit their niece and that he didn't want me to call police. they had them at my house. then they were telling me names of streets to try and fish the location. They were very convincing and kept saying "Ma'm we have to get him some water". Truly a scarey performance. I told them I was calling the police and this was a scam.
