call received 6/29/13 at 12:32PM. No message just silence when answered. Returned call dialing 1- ahead of number and computer operator said that number was disconnected. How do they use an inactive number for robo calls? This number is becoming abusive!

We have received repeated calls on our home phone from someone claiming to be in the "shipping department" saying our "emergency medial alert is ready for shipping." We have not ordered any such thing, nor would we (we are both in our early 30s). This seems to be a scam targeting older people.
