Called me today asking for my criminal lawyer's info regarding the IRS's lawsuit against me for tax evasion. The caller gave his name, Brian Curtis, his badge #, his employee #, and the case #. He stated that the IRS tried to reach me via certified mail, giving a date, and saying the notice was returned because nobody was home to sign (he had my address). He stated that the IRS tried another attempt on date and since nobody was available, they left a notice posted to the door and took a picture of it, so they have plenty of evidence regarding their attempts to notify me. I hung up, and the caller attempted to call four more times.
