I received a text message and called the number back. They stated i owed a company from payday loan. The person was persistent and short. Say they will just issue a court date on Nov. 9. They said they tried several times to collect the money. They had my name a previous address. Would not give me the name of the payday loan company

called me and was a recording stating that they had emailed me several times regarding litigation and that they had my social security number among other pieces of information. The recording went on to state that i should check my email and call them back (stating the number that called) or if I wanted to just click on number 2 (i think) to speak to someone. Seemed scammish so I am reporting.

Left a message requesting to call them back within 24 hours in order about a claim.
When I called from another phone they did not state who they were. When I asked who she represented I was told Mediation.
I requested my number be removed because they did not have the right name associated with the phone number they were trying to reach.
