A robo callers calls to say they are taking legal action regarding a payday advance that was taken out. There has never been any such loan and lots of people are getting calls from this very same company. They insist you pay them or court papers will be filed. When questioned about their validity, they become rude or hang up. Scam for sure!

I also received a call from this through an automated system, as did three of my family members. I contacted them back-calling themselves Western, but saying they are a collection group but rather represent a client called Compass Capital LLC (a payday loan company they say owed a debt by the person they are looking for). I played along for a bit, they say at first they are just trying to verify a home address on someone and say can't resolve the debt but then when I play along and say I could pay something they perk up and want half of the balance-end result they got zero dollars, had outdated email address from 18 years ago under aol, old bank information, 10 year old work information, and could not verify the social fully (meaning only had last 4 digits). Firstly, there are scam reports from this group in the state of Washington, they refused to mail out a validation notice of debt or even email it for that matter, would not say their physical address or give a land line contact number, and refused smaller monthly payments in hopes of getting a one time big pay out as soon as possible before someone would get wise to them. I spoke with a Henry Gates and Brittney Allen from "Western" and when my call with Henry was over he said he was mailing court papers to that address but would make note that we tried to settle the debt but could not afford the payments.

I have received calls from this number and messages are left on both my home and work answering machine. Caller never says who they are, what company is calling, asks for information on finding individual in question (my name is added electronically) Same as above, states formal complaints have been made and ends with threat that papers will be filed at courthouse. Very similar to other scam calls received from other numbers.

Calls as a human & plays the name they are looking for via a machine, sounds horrible. States someone has made a complaint against u & if you have any info on individual mentioned contact them or they will file the case in your local court house. Pfft.
