I got the same thing they called left a voice mail saying i was being served and had charges filed against me and I had one chance to solve this with the customer they gave me the 855-203-7053 phone number to call I called it they said I owed for a payday a Vance loan in 2013 and that if I didn't pay they would take me to court bunch of bs i nver even took out a payday advance loan let allne there illegal in my state
First i had a server call my mother on her cell phone which i though was pretty odd. If it was legit pay day loan i did use then they would of had my cell phone. Then they told me to call 855-203-7053 to see what this is all about. I called and i had a guy tell me i owed $700 for a pay day loan i have never heard of going back in 2013.. Which raised another red flag. He then said he would take $500 from me to settle. I was nervous and off guard at the time so i paid the $500. After paying them the money i then later encountered fraud on that same card I used to pay them. I have never used that card yet. I activated it the day i had to pay them . This company " State Wide" is a joke and they girl called me basically threading me that i'm getting served and I'm on a recorded line so i wont win in court. Yet when I paid the $500 iasked 3 times for them to send me a letter of a proof of payment. NEVER got it and that was 2 months ago. Every time i ever settled a debt i always got documentation proving i paid. Anyone who is getting phone calls from them. Ignore them they are a SCAM.
Chris Peters called from 713.257.8872. Called me by my first name (which isn't the name I go by), asking for another family member. Told me to have this FM call 855.203.7053. Gave me a case # and told me this FM would be served within the hour. Glad I looked up the 855# before having FM call. Bunch of jerks! How do they live with themselves, scamming people like this?!!!
I just received a call from the number. They asked me to verify my social security number, but I made them to tell me what number they had listed. They were off 1 number of my social. The stated I owed $1,098.00 for payday and they were going to garnish my wages, but since I called they wouldn't. They wanted me to set a payment for $100.00 on today. I said I couldn't afford it. Then they said if I agree to $87.50 every pay period they wouldn't garnish my wages. I said I couldn't afford it. The person stated well it a civil sue and you have to go to court. I said I would take my chance in court. She hung up in my face. I called back and asked for the name of the company. Person said "Statewide Legal Services." I asked for the address and they refused to give me and address. The person hung up in my face.
