They left me a voice mail saying they would freeze my bank accounts seize my assets and have me arrested if i failed to pay the CRA what they say i owe. LOL As if i was stupid enough to fall for this scam the government doesn't call people they send you a letter and i am aware of my own things so i know i do not owe money to the CRA.

CRA threatening legal proceedings and collection agencies at my doorstep if I don't call back within 24 hours. Called me 3 times in 3 hours. Almost as desparate as the air duct cleaning guys

Once you talk to them for sometime, you will know their goal., Yes, asking for money, they will give you a western union number, if you deposit the asking amount they will remove your case from CRA. These guys disturbed me a lot last year.

CRA does not call and leave anyone messages like that. They send letters. It's a complete scam, hopefully they are stopped soon. I've been called 3 times today by this number. A-holes

Just received the same automated message with the threat of seizing assets & my bank account. It also said that if I did not call them back within 24hrs there would be someone show up at my house. Total scam but, for elderly persons not knowing about such scams...a very alarming event!!

threatening robo call from 855 204 0667 followed 30 mins later by live 'agent' saying he was calling on behalf of CRA about the taxes I owed. As I knew I owed nothing I said he was a scammer he tried to bluff but then told me to go F**k myself. Big Scam but could be a scary call for the elderly to receive.

Left the same rob call message. The message uses poor grammar. Tested the phone number and it does not connect. CRA would send a letter of notice before such a call. This is definitely suspicious.

They claim to be the CRA. State they are initiating legal proceedings. They will freeze assets and bank accounts if i dont call back or they dont hear from my lawyer. CRA gave me a refund. What a bunch of idiots. This is completely a scam!

Message mentioned something about attorney, bank account & need to call back within 24 hrs.I informed my parents that it was a scam.CRA never threatens & send someone to your house to collect money.

Message in English and I always use French with all governments (Québec and canada)
