They was telling me that I comitted check fraud. That I paid 150 that bounced. She was telling me something about if I pay 465 I wouldnt have to go to court. The caller didnt identify herself to be samantha but when I told her that someone named Jason Stone and Samantha Evans talked to my dad and she said that he talked to Emily and I said so u are Samantha. The caller said that Jason was on the other phone but she could help me. She was really rude to me.

This is the call back number for a pay-day loan collection agency that is pretending to be a law company. Although I don't think they are a scam, they are impersonating lawyers and sherriffs etc. This is associated with 716-332-1658. They identified as R&L Capital on the phone, and then the secretary made sounds that I didn't catch upon answering the phone. She was very nice, mind you. I suspect they're just doing their job, but I think pretending to be what they aren't to scare people isn't very cool. Thankfully they were following up with someone else whose phone got bumped to me at work. FYI! They not only cofirmed the number with me but told me the name of the person who had the money problems. So much for privacy.
