Chris Walker from Process and Verification left a message stating that I have a possible lawsuit and that failure to contact him may result in adverse decision. I called the phone number and they were looking at my previous address and asked the date of birth. I didn't give out my date of birth and instead asked what they had in their records. They said that they had the wrong person and that the lawsuit from coming from some company in California and in which I have no affiliation. He then said that everything was fine.
I received a phone call on both my house and cell phone (within a two day period) in regards to a "lawsuit" processed by a Mr. Jones? Both phone calls were an automated answering service.
The first call was from a Matty Trinchball (female): She left a voicemail in these exact words "Hello, my name is Matty Trinchball. I'm calling from Process Varification. I'm notifying this location that there will be two attempts to send out documents for a (my name was inserted and pronounced incorrectly... might i add) we need to verify that she will be available between the hours of 9:00am through 4:00pm to accept documents. If any changes need to be made, you will need to contact the issuing agent that filed this case with our office. They can be reached at 855-234-7604. Reference case number (then they left a 6 numbers, 2 letters and two more numbers as a "case number" ) "
The message was 44 seconds long and offered no information about the "case" or lawsuit being filed against me.
The second call i received was from a "Mr. Jones" claiming that I had to appear in court this week. He (whoever this person is) called me and left a message Friday, December 2nd and said I was to appear in court this week, but never gave a time, place, or reason as to why? All that was said was that there was a lawsuit against me and that I was to call this number back before any further action was to take place 1-909-212-7216.
This is clearly a scam because any normal person would know that you would have to physically be served papers by a Law Firm, Lawyer, and or Law enforcement if you were seriously being sapenad to appear in court. My only question is. What is the scam? I obviously didn't call them back because with technology today they could probably hack into my phone and retrieve all of my private, personal information, which maybe is the scam in itself? I'm curious to know if anyone has ever fallowed through with the phone call and what the end result was? This is so sketchy!

I recieve the same exact phone call and I dont understand why they are doing this but they need to be stopped.
A guy called & said that I would be served papers pertaining to a lawsuit & wanted to confirm the times in which I would be home to sign for it. I've never heard of someone calling from a cellphone to tell you of a lawsuit or even receiving a call to pre-warn you about something like this.
