Started as a foreign survey on Canadian matters, asking which political party you would vote for, do you approve of the job this guy is doing, then it started getting a bit weird with a variety of religious questions. I hung up at that point, and they just keep calling back. I pressed one for the "contact information" and it just gives the 1-855 number and an address on Bloor St. Toronto, which I googled, and is really the office of the Information Privacy Commissioner/ Ontario.

Automated machine wanted me to take a survey about cell phone usage. There are reports of this number calling for other reasons.

Got a called from this nyumber Sunday evening, a woman with an english accent said that she was calling from the UK doing a survey with register voters of Harris county on problems they were having in Harris County, I was out shopping so, I said "I really dont have time right now to take any survey" she said she will tru again another day.
Sounds like a scam to me, I never give out my cell phone number, I'm not sure where they got it from.

I've seen other 1-855 numbers but not this one. Like other 1-855 numbers, I have neither received messages on my answering machine nor the name of the company that has this number.

We get a call form this number every day. They don't leave a msg. When I pick up and say "Hello" there is silence and then they say "Bonjour" and I hang up.

No audio until I spoke. Woman asked if I spoke english since I put on my best mandirin " Nee how mah gagh" then she hung up.

I recommend you answer yes to everything these jerks ask. Then tell them you have no credit card and am lonely, please talk to me...They will take you off their list once they see you are a time waster!

Received the first call yesterday evening around 7:40 pm. A lady with a slight accent said she was calling to do a survey for CMHC (Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation). Didn't catch everything that she initially said, but it was a bad time of night for us so I said no thanks and she said she would try back another time. Today the number called at 10:30 am and 1:40 pm, and did not leave a message on our machine either time. The number does not match any that are on CMHC's contacts from their website, but I have not called them directly to see if the have contracted a company to do a survey for them.
