I did a reverse phone number look up and this number was not listed with any company. Did TW time off these companies so it wasn't listed??

Time Warner

I got a phone call from this number stating they were from Time Warner although the funny thing was they didnt know my first name? And my account with Time Warner goes by my first and last name. And i was told i must make a payment then and there to avoid disconnect........but i would not give them my banking numbers because above this number it said " 1-800 service" instead of saying " Time Warner" so i didnt know for sure if it was truly Time Warner or not. And then contacted Time Warner and they told me i did not have to pay anything today. And that i still had more days to pay the bill.......So it could of been a scam.....i am not sure.........i do know they should of atleast known my first name and they never mentioned the amount i owed and they lied to me saying i had to make a payment today when in fact i have many more days to pay.
