It's not fraud. It's from UHC's coordination of benefits and they work under the UHC Optum umbrella, a division within United Healthcare. If you call the # on the back of your insurance card, you have to ask customer service to look them up under "JABBER". It's legit.

Here is the link to the division you say doesn't exist.

This is a legitimate division under United Healthcare Optum which is part of the UnitedHealth Group family of companies. If you are a UHC member, you certainly received a letter if you're getting a follow up call from this number. This is legitimate and is not a scam.

Sounded legit, but is a common scam to acquire personal info. Claimed to be Joe from United Healthcare, coordinator with benefits eligibility division. Offers to file for disability, following recent letter sent. Actual United Healthcare has no such division, & offers no such service. No letter was sent. Scam call. https://www.consumer.ftc.gov/blog/2016/04/sca ... ty-applications
