This is a 3rd party company that calls on behalf of cable providers. They try to force you into adding a cable package. They say they want to offer you Showtime and a $50 gift card and then try to hang up the phone. Then when you ask the cost, they finally tell you. I told them NOT to add anything. I then called the REAL phone # for DirecTV Stream. They said that this 855-255-9864 is a legitimate phone # from them. But when they call, it has all of the signs of a scam. Robodialed, takes 5 seconds for them to answer, called at 8:00pm, etc. Now they are calling me back again. This is a "legitimate" phone # per DirecTV Stream. But its a 3rd party company with deceptive marketing. They also do Spectrum as well.
