Called my mother. Not with Dish Network. Total scam.

Caller stated he was from Direct TV and said I had to pay $149.90 for a software upgrade for my satellite box and that it would be refunded in a month. He asked for my card number and PIN. I called 855-295-1231 back and a recording answered saying it was a satellite service company or something. A man with a slight foreign accent then answered. I asked what company it was and he said Dish Network. This is a scam. There is a police report in Ashland WI, from June 14, 2017, reporting the same type of scam from this number.
