Call did not appear to be legitimate and was focused on cell phone usage and nothing to do with CDC. I finally disconnected after I was told the call would take an hour or more. I thinks they say that purposely as the reall objective of the call was to get cell phone usage info.
Claimed they were from State of Ohio conducting a health survey.
I got half a dozen calls over several weeks asking me to respond to a survey. If it isn't spam, how did they get my cell phone #? They do not leave a message, and I somehow doubt that this is really from the CDC.
I have received 3 calls in the past week from this number saying it was the Center of Disease Control. The caller offered $10 for completing a survey. She said it was not a sales call and asked for participation and that the call was completely random. After the 3rd time I asked her to remove my name from her call list.
Did not answer, voicemail from a woman saying she was from the Center for Disease Control and she was conducting a survey. A member of the household who participates will receive $10, She will try calling again in the next few days.
