I do have a medical device serviced by Lincare but caller did not identify his company ( in the past they always have done so) and did not say what my device is (again, they have always identified it) so I was immediately suspicious & did not return the call.
Fraud. Somehow found out unspecified Medicare equipment was due for replacement but my request has to come from my doctor.
Caller: fraudulent Medicare supplier.
Said my medical device (didn't call it by name} may have outlived its usefulness.
caller id was 800 service. said a home medical device may have outlived its usefulness. SCAM!!!!!

I have received two calls which left message on our answering machine. They found out about medical equipment used and trying to act like they are from my supplier. I am thinking it is a Medicare scam.
