I'm the office manager at an autobody shop and after a rep named Jackson called me and my boss and said they could save us money. I looked into them and I told the boss I didn't think it was wise. So of course, he does the exact opposite and signs up.

Ironically, our bill has actually gone to like 1/8th of what it was with Square. He still never lets me hear the end of it. So I'm here to say that my beef with the Processing Depot is that they ACTUALLY did what they said -_._-

Anyone saying 'scam' obviously has no understanding of merchant services. EVERY merchant services company does this. I was with EVO before being poached by Payroc and then finally moving to The Processing Depot. Switching processors has never come with any regrets because as a business owner I do research on where my money goes so I understood what I was getting into. Every time. Moral of the story, do your own research instead of listening to people saying scam with no proof.

P.S. everytime I've switched processors, my rate has decreased. INCLUDING when we switched to TPD

I process with the processing depot and they definitely aren't a scam, but I can understand why people might be wary considering how vague their marketing is lol

The Processing Depot IS A TOTAL SCAM!!! Kanissha called me from 800-770-6017 ext 1414. stating there was an overcharge on my merchant account and she was an auditor. She wanted me to pull the last 2 statements to tell me what the overcharge was. I feel for this trick. Chris Burns called me the next day went over a contract which I did not read.I was stuck with a 4 year lease for a credit card machine. After I signed the contract he told me I would not be reimbursed for the overcharges. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM. I had to pay Finova Capital $2123.87 to break the lease.

I keep seeing people in the comments saying this and I'm noticing that none of you read the contract?? I got one of these calls as well and as my rep was going over the paperwork, I asked questions about everything that seemed suspicious. My rep explained them perfectly.

The moment I saw the page that says LEASE in large letterhead, I asked about it (????) In the long run the cost of the lease and the reduced rate was way less than if I stayed with Square so we switched. Easy business decision.

855-355-0989 just called our business and here's the scamming spiel they left on our voicemail :
"Hi, my name is Kerry. I'm calling from Processing Depot in regards to an over billing on the merchant account for the month of August, September and October. If you please give me a call back at 855-355-0989, extension 1420. Again, my name is Kerry. Thank you."
Here is their info :

My processing company had been over charging me for years, so it was a sigh of relief when I got a call from Processing Depot to help me with the mess I was in. Everyone was very helpful and they even took the time out to review my statement with me. My fee's are now more than half of what they used to be. Highly recommend this company

A lady called (from 855-355-0989) saying that there was an overcharge on my merchant account and they were a “kind of auditors” or something similar (I don’t remember). She wanted me to pull the last 2 statements to tell me what the overcharge was. This is a new trick. The call is from The Processing Depot. They are (supposedly) a merchant company trying to get you to switch to their company.
