They called my cell phone on 12/16/15 and left the following voicemail message:

"This is a very important message in regards to a serious business matter in reference to your account number UNKNOWN. Please respond immediately at the following phone number 855-372-8678. Please refer to your account number when calling."

I have no overdue accounts or collections, so I found this call odd. I did not call back. Googled the phone number, but couldnt find anything.

Today, they called again. When I answered the phone "hello" they immediately hung up on me. So I called them back from another phone line (not my cell phone). Automated answering indicated the company was "AMG" and suggested some 'options' to press buttons for certain departments. I didnt press any buttons, but waited to be transferred to a real person. Lady came on the line. She wanted the phone number that they called (my cell number). I declined to give it to her. She said she needed my phone number to look up my 'account.' I asked the name of the company. She said "Asset Management LLC." I asked the lady why would they be calling me? She wouldnt say.

I gave up and hung up. I'm going to just block the number.
