A person named Greg called my parents and wanted my phone number. My dad informed him that I didn't live there and refused to give it to him. When asked about his reasons for calling, he would only state that it was personal and gave the number 855-403-1848 for me to call back. It most definately is a scam considering that I do not know this person either personally nor professionally.

A person for whom I only use their name for as a personal reference for EMPLOYMENT was called by this number. They were asking if they knew who I was and wanted other information as well. Thankfully this person caught on right away other then to verify they knew me and hung up. The person called was someone by the name of Shaquita...not sure if that is spelled correctly.

Called the main line at my company and asked for a specific employee by name. Would not provide any details (i.e. e-mail address) or context as to why she was calling. Said to call back because it was very important.

I have been getting calls from this number from a man named Thomas Rivas. He poses as someone trying to do a reference check on a friend of mine. Then he asks me to confirm my friends personal info, such as phone numbers, address and current employer.

they called an ex bf asking him a bunch if questions but said they were doing a reference check. fraudulent!
