This is NOT AT&T. I work for AT&T and I got a call form these people.

I verified with the management of that call center the real number is 1 800 ATT 2020.
DO NOTgive them your account number., nor your name. Hang up and call back. You will notice the number is forwarded to another country by the 2nd ring tone that is different from the first ring tone.
Call your ATT office and have a password put on your account. Or have your account number changed or your bank account number changed.

Whatever information you gave them call and have that bank account or charge card cancelled or changed!!

Caller said they were calling about a pass due bill for AT&T in the amount of $2,449.66. Wanted to give me customer service number (to appear legit) and I said no thank you. I don't owe anything. SCAM!!!!

They ARE AT&T. They called me when I e-mailed them about porting my number back to them, SO IT IS VALID! Caller ID showed AT&T as well.(I know it can be spoofed) but when I celled back, they recognized my number and account.

You should not call them. If you check your account number it is not what they tell you. You should look at bill and call that number. They are scammers!
