They try to get u to give them acess to your computer by saying you have a virus that will destroy your hard drive & u must let them take care of it immediately.
I explained it's a brand new computer I just purchased & I haven't even connected it to the Internet yet, he said good don't connect it to your Internet, your Internet server is no good it's been comprised with the virus. I asked how would you know this, well he said in his forigen broken English voice we are receiving a red warning signel off the top of the tower your server recivies their data through that their cable is comprised with a very serious virus. These are the nation's new security measures. We are working for Windows & he went through the entire list of Windows up to the new Windows 10. You are on our list as a Windows product owner, am I correct?
I just explained I just purchased this computer I haven't registered anything sir!
ANYWAY I THINK U GET THE IDEA HERE RIGHT!
I ENDED THE CALL & IMMEDIATELY CALLED THE GEEK SQUAD AT BEST BUY & WAS TOLD THIS WAS UNFORTUNATELY A SCAM... AND TOLD THERE WAS NO WAY FOR ANY COMPANY TO KNOW IN ADVANCE OF VISUALLY SEEING YOUR PC IF IT WAS COMPERMISED BY SOME FORM OF CANCER.
