This is a legit call. It is the Initial Health Screen and Assessment (IHSA) survey. Seems they do it every year for members of medicaid. Not sure if it is limited to just Community Health Plan of Washington or if all medicaid program members get this call. I contacted CHPW and confirmed this. They sometimes have the incorrect contact information as they kept calling my wife's phone instead of my phone.
This is Conduit Integration Services, hired by Community Health Plan Washington to take surveys of their members, once per year. I called chpw in Seattle to verify this.
We've gotten several or more calls and voicemail messages recently for someone who doesn't live in our household. Kevin Bingham or Binghamen (?) is asked to complete a survey for joining Community Health Plan of Washington. They instruct him to use reference number 8417894. These numbers show in our caller ID: 3-604-588-0001.
They called yesterday about my child's health care, but I don't have a child so I told them they have the wrong number. A guy with a heavy accent apologized and hung up. Today I received another call about my child's health care, this time it was a different named child. Next time they call, probably tomorrow, I will answer and request to be removed from their call list and see if that works.
Its a scam. They wanted me to give them info about my kids. nope!
